Smart photo grouping

Three steps to your first 3D model
- 1Create the Job
Give it a name you will recognize later, for example the site and the date of the flight.
- 2Upload the photos
Drop in the JPG photos of one flight. They upload straight from the browser.
- 3Start processing
It runs on our servers. Come back later to explore the 3D model, the map and the measurements.
Tips for photos that work
- Overlap of 70–80%Each photo should share most of its area with the next one, along and across the flight lines.
- Constant heightFly at the same height above the ground and keep the drone steady while shooting.
- Original JPG with GPSUpload the files straight from the drone: MavenScene reads position and time from each photo.
- Even light, sharp photosAvoid motion blur and strong shadows. Water, glass and moving objects are hard to reconstruct.
- Enough photosA small site usually needs 50 to 300 photos. More overlap is better than more photos.
